Most people underestimate how long unpacking takes. They move in on a Saturday and live out of boxes for three weeks. Our professional unpacking service in Winnipeg fixes that.

Packing help makes the most sense when

Cold weather packing
In January and February, temperatures drop to -25°C or colder. Electronics, plants, liquids, and candles can't sit in an unheated truck or garage for long. We know which items need extra insulation, which need to ride in the cab, and which should go last onto the truck so they're first off at the new place. We also prepare for the practical stuff — cleared pathways, ice melt on the steps, floor protection so slush doesn't get tracked through both homes.
Older housing stock
A lot of Winnipeg homes — in River Heights, the North End, Wolseley, St. Boniface — were built before modern hallway widths were a design consideration. We work in tight spaces regularly. Narrow staircases, walkup apartments, low-clearance basements — none of it is new to us.

For most moves, booking one to two weeks out gives us good availability. Spring and summer are busier, so earlier is better if your move is between May and September. That said, we do our best to fit in last-minute bookings too — call us at (204) 296-2223 and we'll see what we can do.
Yes. Our insurance coverage applies to items packed by our crew. If you pack boxes yourself, coverage for those boxes may differ. We'll explain exactly what applies during your free quote so there are no surprises.
Yes. We can pack items in a storage unit or help consolidate and repack a unit before a move. If you're clearing out a storage space as part of your relocation, we can work that into the same job.
In most cases, yes. We prefer to keep the same team on a job because the crew that packed knows exactly how things are loaded and where everything is going. It makes move day faster and reduces the chance of anything being misplaced.
A typical three-bedroom home takes one full day with a crew of two or three. Homes with large collections, many fragile items, or a lot of storage space may take longer. We'll give you a time estimate during the on-site quote based on what we actually see.
