Most of our furniture assembly work in Winnipeg happens around moving day. We come in the day before (or the morning of) and break down the bed frames, wardrobes, and shelving units that won't fit through doorways or load efficiently into the truck. Then at the new place, we put it all back together so you can sleep in your own bed that night.
Doing it this way solves a few problems at once:

Every bolt, screw, washer, and bracket gets bagged and labeled by piece during disassembly, so reassembly at the new place is fast. Nothing gets lost in a moving box.
Our co-founders Christopher Pereira, Sean Hagues, and Nicholas Wight have a combined 50+ years of experience in the moving industry, with Christopher and Nicholas working in moving since the early 2000s. Taking furniture apart and putting it back together is something we do almost every workday.

Our furniture assembly workflow:
- We arrive with our own tools: drills, drivers, hex keys, levels. You don't dig anything out of the garage.

- Lay out one piece at a time: all components for a single item organized before we start, so nothing gets mixed between boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Someone needs to be there to let our crew in and confirm where each piece goes, but you don't have to hover. Most customers point us to the rooms, hand over the boxes, and go about their day. We'll find you when we have a question or when we're done.
It happens. Flat-pack manufacturers sometimes ship incomplete kits. We'll let you know right away, and you can decide whether to contact the retailer for a replacement part or have us return once the part arrives. Either way, call (204) 296-2223 and we'll work it out with you.
Yes, as long as the original hardware and instructions are with it. If you bought something used or pulled an old wardrobe out of storage, we can put it back together. Bring whatever paperwork you have, and if there's no manual, we can usually figure it out.
Saturday mornings work well. We're open 8am to 1pm. Weekday evenings can sometimes be arranged for smaller jobs. If your schedule is tight, call (204) 296-2223 and we'll find a time that works. We'll do our best to fit you in.
Yes. Patio sets, outdoor dining tables, gazebos, storage benches, sheds, and BBQ stations are all jobs we handle. Spring and early summer are our busiest months for outdoor pieces, so call ahead if you want a preferred day.
We don't currently offer wall-mounting or any work that involves drilling into walls. Our furniture assembly service is freestanding pieces only: beds, dressers, desks, shelving units, and so on. For TV mounting you'll want a handyman or installer.
Absolutely. We do plenty of single-piece assembly jobs: a new bed, a wardrobe, a stubborn IKEA dresser. There's a minimum visit charge, but no job is too small to ask about. Call (204) 296-2223 for a free quote and we'll let you know what to expect.
